Is that a statement I want weighing on my heart for all time? No, I can honestly say it isn’t. It is the best thing that can be said, and I am proud and glad such words were uttered, but there is still such a horrendous connotation connected with it.
The sentence should have been “I chose to stay with him for all the things he has done right” period. The end.
And that is why I will spend the rest of my life making sure that the “One thing that he had done wrong” is 0.0000000000000000000000000 ad infinitum 1.
And math says that’s as close as I can get to being the man you deserve.
(But i mean, if I didn’t have to strive to be the man you deserve, then what a cock of the wop I would be.)
